Thanks for your feedback. I definitely agree in that we want to have a human element (our friends, family, etc) share their ideas with us rather than a computer telling us what the data say.

We’re helping our clients use social media along with video to help bridge the gap between a faceless corporation and the human element. The end viewer always wants to see the human side of a company.

“People are moving away from raw, impersonal data to personal recommendations on everything from which restaurant to eat at this weekend, to which vehicle to purchase. We ask other friends and colleagues where to do business and and where not to do business. I want to know what my friends thought of a movie or what others in the business community think of a new trend, rather than depending on the cold, hard statistics. ”

Let me rephrase this: “People want to know what their friends think of a product, not what a marketing piece tells them.”

Isn’t this an argument against your own business?

I think all competition is good… If Google sees a social search engine as competition it will make them work harder to give us what we really want and can open doors not thought of in the past
